Reception

Spains Hall Estate is a flexible wedding venue: you can choose to hold your entire celebration here or just your reception. The magnificent Elizabethan Hall and The Stables complex will be at your disposal – and yours alone.

The Stables, while still retaining many charming original features, is very much of the 21st century: the Main Hall is light and airy and includes an intelligent lighting system (you can even colour coordinate your lighting with your bridal scheme).  The converted Loose Boxes are an area where your guests can take a quieter moment and enjoy stunning views across the Terrace and grounds to Spains Hall. The Coach House completes the picture.  It retains its original brick and beam work and enjoys views to Spains Hall and grounds.  The Stables can comfortably accommodate 130 guests for a traditional seated wedding breakfast and has a maximum capacity of 180 for dancing and evening entertainment.

Spains Hall can also be used for your reception, and is particularly suitable for smaller, daytime celebrations.  If you are using the Elizabethan Hall for your ceremony, prepare in the Tapestry Room, enjoy your wedding then utilise the Drawing Room as an ante-room or for your drinks reception.  It has direct access to the gardens: wonderful for the summer months.
