Grounds

The grounds at Spains Hall Estate can add a whole new dimension to your wedding.  You and your guests will enjoy exclusive access to the grounds and gardens on your wedding day.  You can arrive by horse and carriage, sweeping up the wide gravel drive, passing the ancient cedar tree, or by helicopter landing in front of the Hall.  Drinks receptions can take full advantage of the ancient rose and flower gardens, a game of croquet on the lawn or retire to The Stables Terrace, protected from the elements by sunshades and gas heaters.

You are also invited to celebrate your first anniversary by planting a tree in the Arboretum.  The Arboretum was set up when Spains Hall Estate first opened its doors for weddings in 2005 and provides our couples with a lasting memory of their day here.  We have over 70 trees planted now,  a mixture of species native to the UK and more exotic ornamentals.
