The Stables
Of all the properties within the Estate, the Stables complex has undergone the most radical transformation. An 18th century Dovecote and 19th century Coach House have been sympathetically renovated and extended to create the Stables complex.
Original features were retained and enhanced. The new Main Hall was added, along with underfloor heating and air conditioning. The Loose Boxes have been converted into a comfortable seating area with direct access to the Terrace and views of Spains Hall and grounds. The Coach House has exposed brickwork and beams, again with French doors opening onto the Terrace and views beyond. Flint walls, wooden feed troughs, an original coachman’s uniform all sit comfortably alongside audio-visual presentation facilities, WiFi and a wireless PA system. One of the many happy marriages that has taken place at Spains Hall Estate!
