Delightful accommodation in a converted Tudor Barn.  A warm welcome is assured and a hearty breakfast will be served in the Vaulted Hall.  Three rooms in total:  two Double Rooms, one with a king size bed and one which can be arranged with twin beds or one large double bed. Both have newly-fitted en-suite shower rooms.  One Superior Double Room featuring a king-size sleigh bed and en-suite bathroom with whirlpool bath.  All three bedrooms include a flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player; alarm clock;  iPod dock; hair dryer; tea and coffee-making facilities;  iron and ironing board; fan, additional heaters and spare blankets.

Five self-contained suites, each with sitting room, bedroom and shower room.  Two holiday cottages also available, both sleeping four.  The cottages have held 4 stars for the last 11 years and the bed and breakfast suites which have now opted out of the rating system - 6 years.
The bed and breakfast suites consist of private sitting room, bedroom and en suite shower room. A self-service style continental breakfast is taken in your sitting room at the breakfast table. We are situated in the medieval town of Thaxted surrounded by beautiful Essex open countryside.
